I don't really disagree with anything your saying, but everything in the NFL is a calculated risk. Most coaches only get one shot at being an HC and so it behooves him to at least look at other options.
Like I said, I think Moore will take the job, I just think it's stupid for him to not consider all the possibilities.
I hear ya, and I can agree with THAT! If the Eagles had lost, I think it would have been very tempting to run it back and try for the Lombardi again. Winning changed the calculus, IMO. Unless Saints do something monumentally stupid, he's on his way!
