Do you remember your first day of high school?

Si I always thought that elementary school was Kindergarten through 6th grade

Middle school was 7th and 8th grade and high school was 9th through 12th

Had no idea so many people had different set ups

it is always changing
when I was a kid it was k-6th/7-9/10-12 for public school
and k-8/9-12 for Catholic -- then Catholic schools really started to lean into 'pre-freshman' and 8-12 became a big thing

but even now k-12 schools are kinda wobbly about when middle school begins and ends
