Yes we need players all across the roster. Forcing picks at DE and such is what has gotten us in this mess we have. You force a pick, then you miss out on another position, then fail at the position you take. Thats now 2 holes that go unfilled. No one should ever apologize for taking best player available. So, you believe in BPA but not if we have already invested a lot into the position?


I don't think that's really BPA. And while we have invested a decent bit in the OL, it's not fixed. I don't think we should reach for an OT and I don't think we should take a Guard at #9 because there is essentially no possibility that a Guard is BPA at #9, but I also don't think our OL is good enough that you rule out an OT if he does happen to be BPA at #9.

Anwayway, I suspect that OL won't be BPA at #9. I suspect it's either going to be DL, CB, Safety, or RB. But we can hope that McMillan falls to #9.
