Saints hire Kellen Moore as head coach

The way Moore holds his mouth open reminds me of Beavis and Butthead and it bothers me for some illogical reason. That said, it has nothing to do with his skills as an OC which outside of the Chargers have shown to be very good. He's not a huge WOW hire for me, but I'm not really sure who would've been outside of Ben Johnson and even then I'm mainly saying that based on other people's analysis rather than my own.

I'm excited to see how Moore performs in the Head Coaching role and very interested to see how he fleshes out his coaching staff as well all know that's at least half the battle right there. Not too worried about the draft process and FA situation at the moment. We know Loomis is going to be involved to an extent, I doubt Moore has total control like Payton did simply because he hasn't earned that yet but I do know he'll be extensively involved likely along with whoever his most trusted underling is. With the FA situation, we'll see how the money gets moved around over the coming weeks and play with the hand we have, it is what it is.

Went with option 2 on the poll.

The thing with Moore to me is that if he stayed in Philly for another year after this season and they likely duplicate their offensive performance next year, he would become the hottest HC candidate in the league next year. Maybe hotter than Ben Johnson was this year. We just managed to get him a year early before his star rose too high for us to reach like Ben Johnson.

Doesn't mean he will succeed, but it's the right plan and the kind of coach you want to hire.
