Saints hire Kellen Moore as head coach

That doesn’t sound correct. How many other teams even interviewed Moore or considered him? I realize he COULD be the best hire, but to claim that now is sunshine pumping homerism.

Aaron Glenn and Ben Johnson were clearly better HC candidates than Moore. Don’t forget 2 different guys removed THEMSELVES from consideration for this job.

I’m hopeful too, but pump the brakes.

McCarthy and for my $ Brady knew they were not getting the job so they removed themselves because getting turned down would have been bad optics.
