Ian Rapoport: Saints to make a decision on Taysom Hill; hard to imagine Hill returning [T.Hill is turning 35 w/ 18M cap hit & ACL recovery]

I haven’t even thought of him playing Taysom as a full time quarterback, but you can certainly do worse than use Taysom in the Philly “tush push” situation better than you can Derek Carr.

I just think with so few weapons on this team, jettisoning one of your most versatile ones probably makes as much sense as smoking crack with the Mayor of DC.
Definitely just wondering if he does cut Carr, and you have Taysom for whatever we're paying him this year that it could be an option. Darnold played on what a 10 mill dollar year for Minnesota? something similar to what we could look at. Just something to throw out there, as smart as Moore is I can see him studying everyone and looking back at when Taysom was playing. He can utilize him just like Hurts. Would hate to waste a pick on a Dart, or Milroe when we got so many positions to fill. Everyone kind of chalking up this season as a loss, that it's gonna take time and if you can't land a Darnold, or a Fields in free agency then roll with what you got, while cleaning up the cap and starting a rebuild. Besides 26 is the year we land our QB in my opinion.
