How would you feel with Jaxson Dart at 9?

So, you would take your future starting QB ( if that’s your guy) at the end of the first round but not earlier. Ranking picks is a crapshoot, losing your guy to another team ( ie Mahommes) can set you back years just as picking the wrong guy can also. I just wanted to start a conversation to show the complete buy in on the consensus of “ know it all” draft geeks. QBs are really a class by themselves, Purdy was almost undrafted, Brady was 6th round and no one knew how they would play until the bullets starting flying.

Yup. No one saw Bo Nix going as early as he did yet it made Payton look like a genius. Penix isn't looking bad either. Yet this board was laughing up a storm when both picks happened.

It just goes to show how many people on this board simply fail to understand the draft and how it works. Probably because of all the media floating running mock drafts that have players going in similar ranges. More people are malleable then not.

If Dart suddenly starts appearing in mock drafts as a top 10 pick after the combine this thread will take a very different direction.
