On the topic, itself, condemning Carr without knowing why he's away from the team, and if the team has a problem with that, is presumptive. If there's something more going on, we'll find out in time. These players make a lot of money but they also sacrifice their health to entertain us, and miss a lot of time with their families during the season.

Yes, he makes millions, but he's still a human with a life outside of football.

These guys work less than any normal human being getting paid multi millions of dollars to play a game. Don’t you dare compare that to family’s that both parents have to struggle to work and have commitments to their jobs they have to go to in order to keep their job and keep the lights on at their homes.

Derek Carr is one of 32 faces of a franchise, he took the money and lives a complete outlandish lifestyle with generational wealth, in return, he should be representing New Orleans at the Super Bowl and be in the building this week to be part of a new chapter, that’s part and parcel of being a leader. Whether the Saints want it or not, especially with how rocky the situation has been with him, him doing that would be a clear indication he wants to do his best to make it work.

After this week, guy has what? 5 months to go to Spain the whole time if he wants? Come on man.
