Yep. Not “every day” type fans though. Fans in high places, fans with stake in the game, fans with investments in the team’s success and in position to lend investment into the team.
I would consider myself an "every day" fan. I'm definitely not a fan in high places and definitely not contributing more money than to attend a few games a year and the occasional jersey/tshirt/hat. Not a season ticket holder. I am a drop of water in the ocean of Saints fans.
That said, a charity the company I work for is involved with, is also a charity that Mrs. Benson is involved with, and many months ago at a meeting, she was there and actually talked to me and asked me how I felt about the state of the team. I'm not saying anything I said was even on her mind at all in her decision making process to fire Allen, only that as a fan, she asked me for my opinion.
