Mike Garafolo: Saints are set to make a decision on Derek Carr within the next few weeks; likely to have multiple suitors if released

Sorry, but I don't buy that the Saints are just going to cut Carr, and I don't see Carr giving up $$$ or waiving his no trade clause.... Something really off the wall would have to occur between now and the season for those things to happen IMO....

And look, I am ready for a new direction... and I'm ready to find a real franchise QB of the future.... I'd be totally okay with a guy like Spencer or a Rookie or a guy like Cooper Rush driving the tank this year to get us to that next potential franchise QB in the 26 or 27 draft....

I just think that the FO is going to think that they are already invested in Carr... Want to win now... and See him as the best chance to do that.... On top of that, they are going to give Moore a couple of mulligan years anyway to start... and give him ample time to un-screw this pooch.

In short, I think (barring something crazy) Carr is the starting QB for this team next year.
