Mike Garafolo: Saints are set to make a decision on Derek Carr within the next few weeks; likely to have multiple suitors if released

I know I’m out on a limb here but I kinda feel Carr will be traded.

He didn’t want to do the Raiders any favors so he didn’t waive his no trade clause with them. But something tells me he wants out of here as much as many in the fan base want him gone. He doesn’t have a ton of years left and I would think he’d rather try to be on a competitive team rather than a rebuilding one. He's also just not liked by the fans. Rightly or wrongly it’s just not a good situation here and an amicable divorce seems good for both parties.

If the right team did approach the Saints about a trade I can see Carr being willing to waive his no trade clause to go get a fresh start and maybe have a chance at a playoff run.
