Tyler Warren vs Mason Taylor

Considering our willingness to pass on Brock Bowers last year, I suspect the organization doesn’t value TE as a position worth using a high draft pick on. This knowing Bowers was a generational level talent.

Warren nor Taylor are in Bowers stratosphere, I doubt they’ll take the former early, but I could see them taking the latter if he’s available in a later round
Brock went 13th and the Saints drafted 14th, so I wouldn't say they "passed" on Bowers, they just weren't willing to trade up for him. Either that or there wasn't an oportunity to trade up. I'd love to have drafted Bowers, same as the other 31 teams that didn't get him. But I am glad we stayed put and did not trade away draft picks. We need more players, not fewer... regardless of how good they are.

As far as not drafting a TE in the high first round... We've had almost two decades of Sean Payton and Sean Payton tree guys who did everything they could to maintain the status quo. New year new me new regime now. I can't see Loomis picking against Moore's wishes here. The only question is how Moore looks at draft picks, positional value, and how he wants to build his team. Regardless of who his QB ends up being, last season made it painfully obvious that we have a serious lack of ball catchers.

With that being said, it's still possible that Moore decides to draft extremely large humans in the first two rounds ala Payton/Parcells, etc... Can't argue against that either. We have a serious lack of extremely large humans as well.
