most of the ones who championed his 'free speech stuff will never admit it. they don't wanna the 'I told you so' so they will stick by it no matter how bad it gets..lol

When I was living in NYC I read the Village Voice regularly
Nat hentoff was a regular writer and about as close to a free speech purist as ever was
Usually it was fine bc I agreed with his take , but every now and then it was like ‘Wha?!? We gotta give them free speech too!!??’
