If you've cut out bacon grease and still eat stuff with fillings like Twinkies or Oreos or seed oils, then you are worse off.

Bacon fat the body knows how to process. Most 'synthetic' foods are problematic.

I eat clean and healthy fats like bacon constantly now. Cholesterol, A1C, and weight all improved since changing.

We switched from margarine to butter several years ago for kind of the same reason... Plus butter just tastes better
