I also never understood why people need to be nude during a massage. Would gym shorts really interfere that much? I had to get my legs massaged during PT sessions with gym shorts on and don't feel I received a lesser experience for not having been nude under a towel. Granted, if someone's dead set on being a creep they can still find a way to be a creep even with shorts on but... they can't pull the "Ooopsie, the towel just slipped. Enjoy the view" maneuver.
