Doug Nussmeier is Offensive Coordinator , Saints officially finalized hire per Underhill

Yep. A young vet like Fields, Lance, Wilson, Malik Willis, Joe Milton, Kenny Pickett, or Jones are possibilities. It's likely not built for a vet that has already reached his ceiling.

I'm just excited that it looks like the organization is fully committed to developing young QBs. We need to find and develop one as our starter and then continue to try to churn them out to trade for draft picks or take over if they are better than the starter.

With that QB development team on the roster, I'd bring in the guys who have the prototypical size, with arm talent and durability. The guys that have stuff that can't be taught/developed and then develop them.

Daniel Jones
Justin Fields
Joe Milton
Trey Lance

I'd probably start with Jones and Fields. Both of those guys were in bad situations and have quite a few NFL starts under they belt while still being young. They are both over 6'3" 225lbs and durable. Jones has been complimented on how he handled himself in NY as a pro and his leadership wasn't ever questioned. He was an inexperienced over drafted QB out of college who did not get the chance to develop.
