I do think Staley probably came into this as the favorite because of his years of experience as a DC/play caller and his experience as a HC, but I do think Parker has a shot because both guys have about the same length of relationship with Moore. I also wonder if Moore, given that he's only 36 and got a HC job, might be more willing to roll the dice on a young unproven coach than older more experienced HCs?

If it were me and if all things being equal I go young because say things go bad you set it up for Staley to take over as interim HC since he has the experience. Never make it easy to fire yourself. Now if Staley got a bad rap because of his time with the Chargers and he really is a great coach then make that hire.
