Ian Rapoport: Saints to make a decision on Taysom Hill; hard to imagine Hill returning [T.Hill is turning 35 w/ 18M cap hit & ACL recovery]

Sure, all 3 of those QBs are special. So have dozens of others in history, all played w/in the confines of 1 position. There has NEVER been anyone that has done(or can do) what Hill has, NONE! He was extremely effective, early this season, when almost no one else was. He has always been slammed by some here: he's too old, he doesn't pass well enough, he can't really catch or run routes, he gets paid too much, he's always injured...pick any other one. All he's ever done is succeed at EVERYTHING the team has asked him to do, with NO complaint.

"Hill has carried 398 times for 2,159 yards (5.4 avg.), caught 76 passes for 756 yards, completed 191-of-298 passes (64.1 pct.) for 2,348 yards, returned 19 kickoffs for 447 yards and added 15 special teams stops and a blocked punt. Hill's 5.4 yards per carry average ranks second in franchise history."

100 games; 55 TDs, 8 lost fumbles & 9 INT. By all means, kick him to the curb, we have more than enough offensive weapons.
