Maybe, but we really don't know and both were only for one year. As I have said, I think Staley likely gets the job because of his experience and specifically play calling experience. He's also the safe pick, but I can't help but hope for a younger coach with more upside. I think Staley is a solid DC, and I like the scheme, but I don't think he's a great DC.

Why is it you seem to always want the unproven guy and think there is more upside than a guy that has had success at the position? Staley is a great defensive mind.
