Because I think we are currently in a position to bet on upside instead of looking for just something solid. That opinion would change if we were already a contending team that just needs a little tweak to be a championship team.

But you clearly are ignoring the posts I have made recognizing the advantages of hiring Staley.

I'm fine with Staley as DC, but I also see some advantages with going with a younger guy with upside. Truth is that none of us know these guys and none of us know who is the right fit for this team.
