A father coaching his son in professional sports is a recipe for disaster. That can never go well. Performance can never be assessed neutrally. That's a locker room divider. For sure
No in terms of player and coach. But coach and coach we have. Sometimes it's worked out great, others not so much. And one scenario it was a disaster (that was in college at Iowa with HC being father and OC being son).
We have seen coach and player son in college though. KU basketball's coach Bill Self had his son on the team for a couple of years. No problems.
