I doubt he's done that any time recently, but if a guy not projected to be an NFL QB wants an NFL job, he may take to some coaching.

That's the thing I don't get about guys like Milroe. Nobody thinks he's a starting NFL QB. Why wouldn't he want to cross train to be an NFL player? What other career is he walking out of college with the potential to make $1.2m a year or more for the next decade. I guess there is a pride thing involved, but most of college football players used to be the best guys on their high school teams, many of them QBs, and had to go change things up once they got to college. Why not the same thing moving into the NFL if you have something to offer that's different that what you did in college?
