Yes, we would win 2 or 3 games and take the short term pain for the long term gain. Keeping Carr just delays us from getting the ultimate goal with limited upside. That super bowl we won is 16 years old now. Its about time to start finding a way to get more draft picks, hit on them and get a quarterback with pro bowl potential in here that can keep us in super bowl contention consistently.

It may take a few attempts too but we need to put ourselves in position to draft an elite QB prospect early in the draft whether its now or later. I prefer now.

We have taken the lets just tread water thing for 3 years now. Time to abandon mission.
