Saints could get to $14.61 million under the cap without restructuring Derek Carr, after Saints salary cap potentially increases by $5M

It’s not hate. It’s that there are 20 QBs as good or better than Carr and most of those are younger and have much more team friendly contracts. He’s the opposite of the only guy that can get things done.

I’ll support Kellen Moore next year, regardless of his decision on Carr, but from my clinical perspective it’s hard to imagine that he wants to hitch his brand new wagon to an old expensive mule with a bad attitude and a history of not getting the job done.
See that's where your Carr hate comes into play. There are not 20 QBs as good or better than him . He was 13th in QBR last yr and that was playing behind a decimated OL and 2nd and 3rd string WRs.
I'll be the 1st to say that Carr is not elite or even a top 6 QB , but with some support and good coaching he can get us to the playoffs.

I'll also be the 1st to say that he is not the future, even if it's just for the fact that he'll be 34 this yr

Right now it is undeniable that Carr gives us the best chance to win the NFCS in 25
