If we release Carr what would you think of bringing back Jameis? [Mod edit]

Sorry my friend, I simply disagree with the philosophy. Ryan Leaf, Todd Marinovich, Jamarcus Russell, Akili Smith, Jake Locker, Heath Shuler, David Carr and Josh Rosen are only some of the major QB busts that prove how dangerous that philosophy is and vastly harmed the teams that made those mistakes. The Saints simply have too many other needs considering that in all honesty, Rattler wasn’t given a fair chance last year and deserves a shot with Kellen Moore while we work to try and fill other major voids (with picks that could go bust, too). The Saints don’t have the luxury to buy into that philosophy at this point. … Hopefully they might be more able to in 2026, which has potential to be a much better class than we’re facing this draft.
The team won't be better in 2026. So, it's going to be the same situation. Hopefully, with a better pick.

But you can't find a franchise QB if you never draft one in 50 years. You can't rely on FA QB turning into a HOF player. Only one of those ever came around and it doesn't look like another is coming anytime soon.
