If we release Carr what would you think of bringing back Jameis? [Mod edit]

The team won't be better in 2026. So, it's going to be the same situation. Hopefully, with a better pick.

But you can't find a franchise QB if you never draft one in 50 years. You can't rely on FA QB turning into a HOF player. Only one of those ever came around and it doesn't look like another is coming anytime soon.
Again, at this point, before free agency and before the 2025 draft, how do you know the Saints won’t be better in 2026? Carr’s contract situation will be by then anyway, making him a less costly dump. But I don’t even care if we do that over the next week or two. I don’t want to continue t dragging this disagreement on and on. All I’m saying is we don’t know what we have in Rattler. He didn’t get a fair shot with all the multiple adversity he had to face last year. I would rather see what Moore can do with him next year and build a better team for whoever will be QB in 2026. Because if we overreach this season for a QB that ends up being a bust, we could have a 30-year-old Tom Brady in 2026 and he would still crash and burn because we didn’t built up the entire team around him first. You obviously disagree, and that’s fine. Only time will tell. But in my minds, Rattler showed me enough last year to earn another chance with a healthier and stronger team.
