If you like rain, do I have a place for you!
Our winter here in the PNW is soft rain. A lot of it. Like months of it- we call it winter. The most underrated thing here in Portland, we have zero wind.
Also, it isn't cold. Today it is in the upper 50's with a low in the upper 40's overnight. It is 55 at 8am. It is supposed to be in the 60's and sunny this week for two days and the other five are in the upper 50's and soft rain (< 1" in the day) with no wind.
Spring starts in two weeks so we will be in full bloom - cherry blossom, dogwoods and rose gardens as far as the eye can see. Even the regular trees bloom here. Most I didn't even know they had flowers.
Then the rains stop until November. Summers are in the 80's with an occasional hot day. We still get some rain but mostly it is dry until the winter again. Portland actually gets less rain than Nashville in a yearly basis.
