Shedeur Sanders will not work out for teams at combine

I don't have a horse in this race, but I suspect you could have made a very similar statement pre-draft re. Aaron Rodgers. He was slated to go pretty high, likely the serving QB chosen after Alex Smith, but instead sat in the green room on draft day until pick 24.
I think the difference is then if you drafted a QB that high you had to pay outlandish amounts to sign them. Now with the Rookie scale and the rule changes being QB friendly to the point its hard to find success without a QB teams are more willing to draft QBs even if they have big question marks. Theres been a lot risk taken on Raw QB last 4 or 5 yrs
