I've heard he would have been after the top 3 last year, so before Nix or Penix. It's funny how some folks were talking about the perceived age issue with Nix now have nothing to say. I still think he would have been a first round guy just on the significance of the position.
I do think he likely would have gone in the lower first last year if for no other reason teams want the 5th year option on a young QB. Anway, obviously evaluations will vary from team to team. I might actually take him over Penix, but probably not over Nix. But, I also thought Atlanta took Penix too high last year.
