He lacks one significant measurable dat IMO, completely takes him outta the 1st rd: Arm length. His arms are only 32 7/8 in. Its not an “absolute” deal breaker, but it IS something that will sour on most NFL scouts n teams. They’re looking for at least 34 inch arms from an OT.

Example: His hip injury aside, one of the so called “negs “on Ram coming outta college was his arm length, cause it was a quarter inch short of dat 34 in “threshold” at 33 3/4 inches! N never mind the FACT that he had nearly 11 INCH (10 7/8) hands ! Think I’m lyin? Check it out:

That said, I still think Raimanns an intriguing prospect, n depending how things go, n if he’s is there, I’d take him esp with the second pick in da 3rd rd.

I’m bumping this thread to show that arm length is overrated. Remember that when we potentially pick Will Campbell. Also, had we drafted Raimann over long armed Penning in 2022 we wouldn’t need to talk about the tackle position.

Raimann is the 8th graded OT by PFF

Draft Will Campbell and put him at RT and our line is vastly improved.

Penning could make a great guard. But if not, we have two great tackles.
