Saints could get to $14.61 million under the cap without restructuring Derek Carr, after Saints salary cap potentially increases by $5M

No I wouldn't want Mayfield over Carr. Why would I want a QB who loses to a banged up 49ers team, a Cowboys team that was not good(you think getting swept by the Eagles is good? Playoff Cowboys never let that happen), and the Falcons. TWICE. Mayfield has all that talent on his team and still the Bucs only benefit from a bad division. We saw what Carr did with a healthy roster.

Outside of the 3-1 start, Mayfield's wins were against us, Giants, Panthers, Raiders, Chargers(haven't beaten good teams). I mean those are impressive wins. We should be be familiar with this.
I wanted Baker over Carr 2 years ago due to the contract Carr was getting compared to what you would have to pay to Baker and if he did good you sign him like the Bucs did. The next thing is you are talking about wins Carr 5 wins all came against teams with a losing record. The Cowboys was 1-0 when we beat them and the Falcons was 4-2 but they all finished with losing records. Last year was the same he only beats bad teams since he's been here. Some blame does go to DA.
