As much as I wanted to move on and look for young QB for the long term starting this year, I get why they wouldn't do it. They likely want to have some money to get players that Moore wants/fit his system and they wouldn't have that money until after June 1 if they cut Carr. But, hopefully they work out a pay cut and don't have to restructure his entire salary this year. If we can avoid that, we will have more cap space next year after we cut him.

This, I'm hoping Moore was able to charm Carr into reconsidering his paycut decline. That was always the best case scenario along w/ him being on the team. Even better if he eventually concedes to Rattler at some point this season if things don't start well.
