Nick Underhill thinks Carr will be Saints starter [mod edit: Moore-Carr meeting went well; Saints plan is to keep Carr in 2025 & figure out contract]

I think with the coaching around him Moore,Tolzien, Nussmierer we will have a very QB friendly offense that Carr should feel right at home and his steady play should be able to help guide this team on the field.

I also feel like the Falcons holding onto Cousins it does not mean that the young QB on the roster cant or wont unseat him but its good to have that veteran hand especially with the changes that may be coming in terms on scheme and players on both offense and defense.

I think Carr will be fine. Like usual, he will have a few good game, a few bad games and then the rest will be mediocre. He'll continue to hit some big plays, but he will also occasionally so dumb things like getting pick off trying to throw the ball away.

Hopefully Moore can get him to have more of those good games and fewer bad games. But at his age, I expect we are going to see about what we have seen the last 2 years. Which is fine, but unless we really hit on some draft picks and/or hit on some bargain free agents, I expect a 7 to 9 win season.

And I'm more than willing to give Moore a mulligan this year, and next, given that he can't likely build the roster like he wants to this year or find his young QB this year. But, I'm guessing much of the fanbase won't be as charitable.
