Ukraine

I'm still trying to wrap my head around Israel voting against a country with Jewish president and lots of Jewish residents that is being invaded by a country run by an ex kgb agent.
If reports are true, they really didnt want to but were black-balled or forced to on the condition of continuing to still receive badly-needed military, civilian aid and weapons which were vital in their recent conflict with Hamas in Gaza that lasted over a year and is still very uneasy even though there's been a shaky truce that's held for over a month now that Biden admininistration worked very hard and exhausted a lot of political and diplomatic goodwill to bring about. It also managed to significantly alienate a large section of Arab-American populations in major battleground states like Michigan, Wisconsin, and Minnesota who purposely and intentionally didnt vote for Kamala last November and their turnout might've conceivably helped her win some of those states or help Dems keep or gain several House seats.

Make no mistake, Isreal's recent UN vote on Ukraine was not the one they really wanted to make but was forced to with behind-the-scenes shakedowns, implied threats, or intense diplomatic pressure applied to it.
