Ha I wonder if they told Cam Jordan they were managing his load when he only got 11 snaps that one game. For injury sake I hope they figure it out, though I hope Kellen learned in PHI that a TC w/ many practices and long practices is the way to go.
I think they do "manage loads" in the NFL. I'm just not sure if it's evidence based or if it's just coaches deciding on a vet day off?
I know that in European Soccer they realize that it's important to work guys hard to keep them in shape because being out of shape leads to more injuries, but they keep a close eye on their workload with GPS trackers indicating how far they have run, how fast, etc. that lets them know when a guy has reached a point where it could lead to soft tissue injuries. Doesn't always work, but I would hope NFL teams are collecting similar data and using it.
