That’s just absolutely false. I can’t give you examples of entire dynasties that were built on taking like the spurs who got Tim Duncan by tanking a season David Robinson got hurt.

Suck for Luck was also a brilliant strategy and worked for the colts. Unfortunately lick had injury issues but the strategy worked.

Tanking for burrow got the bengals to the Super Bowl.

Know what doesn’t work? David Carr, Geno Smith, etc. Overpaid mediocre qbs who are good enough to get you 7 wins and purgatory.
