THAT'S my biggest fear. Getting a top pick only guarantees that You blow. Sure, you have teams like the Commanders that made it to the playoffs. But more often than not, you keep sucking.

I was going to use the Texans as my example personally. Yeah picking high doesn’t guarantee you hit, but chances are much higher than hitting in the mid to later rounds on one. Idk if you have realized it but the Saints have never developed a QB from scratch since I’ve been alive and I’d like to see it before I die lol.
