I feel there’s an argument to be made that programs no longer exist. A top recruit doesn’t leave HS and sit for 1-2 years and learn. He either plays or jumps to another team that will pay him more/increase his playing time to boost his draft stock. It’s not about long term building a team and culture and teaching young guys the finer points of the game. It’s just constant churning. I wonder how that impacts their readiness for the NFL? Maybe that’s why we’re getting college coaches who can connect with young guys and teach the game
