The issue is not rolling with Carr next year, that's a practical choice given our cap situation. The problem is committing to Carr financially past next year due to Mick's illogical cap philosophy for team rebuilding.
I mean we don't know how they are going to handle Carr's contract or what other moves will be made around it. I'm not a fan of keeping Carr this year or of using his contract to create cap space by pushing money further into the future, but let's see what they end up doing and how it fits into the overall cap implications for the next few years before we just assume it's a disasterous move.
