Ross Jackson’s biggest takeaways from Loomis, Moore and Ireland at the combine

Oh and to be clear…. I love what we’ve done by completely upsetting the apple cart from a coaching standpoint. That was always obvious step 1…

But now is also the time to rip the bandaid off from a player personnel perspective… To build a long term winner. The longer we wait the longer it will be before we are truly competitive…. And we are also subsequently wasting a year of a good young coach’s career in the process.

It’s time to dump old and bad contracts. Fill a couple holes in the lines with cheap FAs…. And Draft young and exciting player makers that make this team worth watching while we develop a young QB or 3 over the next 2 seasons.

This defense is on the way down, and will take longer to fix. So let’s just be drunk Sunday offense fun while we start the rebuild. That’s my vote.

Not saying any of this is easy…. But it needs to be done now.
I've said before, I'd rather keep Carr and start shedding the older vets. Carr can be a bridge QB. Yes he's expensive but the Saints gave him the contract.

Honestly, I can't watch anymore bad offense. For years it was downright BORING. At least we had some semblance of offense with Carr at times last year. Fix the defense, stay healthy and develop another QB as we go so that way they are walking into a team with upside.
