Saints to hire Bo Davis as defensive line coach

I wonder if more college coaches are considering moving to the NFL because of NIL. Especially guys like Bo Davis who are recruiters. Recruiting no longer so much about creating relationships with kids and mentoring them. It's about how much NIL money they want and how much you can get them. If you're a coach who liked building relationships with players, it might not be as attractive a job as it once was. Not to mention the portal where guys just constantly move.

At this point there isn't as much difference between coaching in college and coaching in the NFL.

College football recruiting right now is literally just a worse version of NFL Free Agency because there are no actual rules to keep the kids at the same school so basically every negotiation is for a one year contract.

Easy to see why "the old guard" of college coaches would want to go to the NFL if given the opportunity.
