If Carr is kept then it is universally agreed to that is only a 1 year thing but what is the point of keeping Carr just to win 3-4 more games than we would with Spencer Rattler and not put ourselves in position to go get a QB or just keep adding top talent to this team.

Loomis is so afraid to suffer the consequences of the position that he put the team in that it is going to force the Saints to go from bad to mediocre range for infinity. He just wants to figure out how we can be a 7-8 win team year after year and just keeps winging it to stay in that range.

Not sure he's trying to figure out a way to only win 7-8 games, but he doesn't seem to be paying any attention to what other teams that are contenders every year are doing. He has his method that doesn't work very well and he sticks to it. The good news is that he is the oldest GM in the league that isn't Jerry Jones and should be gone soon enough.
