Kind of. Blake Baker's base is a 4-2-5 but he does a lot of the stuff with one of the DEs standing up on the LoS. Baker does all kinds of weird stuff. I've seen him do 2 DL with 4 LBs stacked who then break out just prior to the snap.

I’m thinking more along the lines of what will be our most common alignment. Also, if one or both edges stand up, with four guys on the LOS and two LB’s behind them, I would consider it a 4-2-5 alignment.

He's been coaching for 30 years and he was just at LSU for last year. I'm sure he's done it all.

I agree, my main point is that all three coaches hired come from teams that played a lot of four man fronts last year. Beyond that, I found out today that Moore said a 4-2-5 alignment was likely.

One thing to keep in mind is while he may use an "even" front, he also had Swinson who is 6'4' 250lbs in his front which is much more in line with a 3-4 Jack than a 4-3 End.

Never said we had to use 4-3 ends, I’m talking about the alignment we will use. We can play lighter edges with run stuffing DT’s if we get the guys. We may be in 2-4-5 personnel, but the alignment will be 4-2-5.
