I’m thinking more along the lines of what will be our most common alignment. Also, if one or both edges stand up, with four guys on the LOS and two LB’s behind them, I would consider it a 4-2-5 alignment.
I agree, my main point is that all three coaches hired come from teams that played a lot of four man fronts last year. Beyond that, I found out today that Moore said a 4-2-5 alignment was likely.
Never said we had to use 4-3 ends, I’m talking about the alignment we will use. We can play lighter edges with run stuffing DT’s if we get the guys. We may be in 2-4-5 personnel, but the alignment will be 4-2-5.
