Saints, LSU or both

Even with everything LSU has done, XLIV has had more of an impact because
1. It’s the most coveted championship in the country’s most popular league.
2. The Saints are still reaping the benefits of it. With each player/coach from that team that gets into the Hall. Including they still selling merchandise from that championship season.
3. NFL is more national while CFB is more regional.
4. With that championship, NOLA is only one of a handful of cities that can claim to own a Super Bowl.

I mean probably half of the doctors in the State went to LSU. Half or more of the engineers went to LSU, etc. It's the biggest employer in the second biggest city in the state. Not sure how you measure that impact but it's pretty clearly bigger than a Super Bowl win.

So, sure the Saints are a bigger impact than LSU Football, but not LSU.
