I don't have an issue with trading Olave this year in principle, but it would need it to be for a late first or early second. And that is not likely to happen this year because of his medical situation. The deal proposed I would only do if Ward, Carter, or maybe Graham was on the board when they pick.
While Olave isn't ideal as a #1 WR. He had two 1,000 yard seasons before he got hurt last year and he would be a great #2 WR if used properly and I think Moore will. So, if he was 100% healthy, I see no reason to trade him especially when this is not a particularly great WR class. But, since he does have the concussion issue, I would trade him for the right offer.
But, I'm also fine with playing him this year and seeing where we are at the trade deadline. Or just pick up his 5th year option and then trade him.
The problem is that if we trade him now, he's at the floor of his value. If he comes back healthy next year, his trade value is going to go up. And if he doesn't and he gets concussed again, you've only lost the 3rd or 4th you could get for him this year. I'd rather have him for a year and take the chance on getting a much higher pick while risking losing a 3rd or 4th, than trading him for a 3rd or 4th this year.
