I guess you have a point. But find it so strange that people believe he has a shot to start. I think it’s a big stretch for him to be a backup. We need to get better at the position and that includes having a solid backup to Carr and if Rattler wins that position after a fair competition I’ll be fine with that. But I hope Moore brings in a solid young guy to develop that has the ability to develop into a solid starting NFL qb.

I like Rattler, but I do agree that we should be looking for more competition in the form of a young QB. I don't think anyone thinks Rattler is a sure thing, but many would like to see him get a shot so we know if he will develop into a starting QB or if we need to try to move up in the draft to get one.
