I am merely pointing out a back that is hailed as the greatest of all time was 5-8.

There have been several short backs that have had success in this league.

If he was 5-9 instead of 5-8, this would barely be getting talked about.

5-8 for a back of his caliber is a non-factor. We aren’t asking him to do anything with his height (catch passes in traffic, see over the OL to complete passes, etc.).

Sure, but it does make Jeanty an outlier, especially since Barry also ran like 4.37, and like I said it's more of an outlier now because the size and speed of defenders has improved greatly over the last 25 years.
