Just my opinion

Is that that that's called? Camera texture? That, that doesn't seem like a good fit. Like calling hamburgers, hamburgers.
I’m going to create a distinction between ‘texture’ and ‘element’
Texture being any effect you can put on digital content (filters, sound qs, etc al)
Elements would be this effects with narrative intent

Consider this

I’ve been watching these guys for awhile and their dancing is sufficient narrative
But here some jamoke is applying camera zoom/tilt texture for whatever reason
The problem is that sane that anyone who’s shot dance knows- camera movement quite often acts like noise canceling headphones- it undermines the actual movement of the dance unless it is exquisitely captured

So now these guys have done dozens and dozens of videos and someone’s like ‘let’s change it up’
But the don’t know what they’re doing
So you turn funky dance into banal visual content
