Well in fairness to "them", if the Saints believe in Carr they should probably be giving him a long term extension. Why aren't they, or maybe they are? I guess we will all find out soon enough.

It's not a matter of belief, it's a matter of age. No team is going to give a 34yr old QB a long term extension no matter who he is
